The Batman Solo Movie Is “Not A Set Thing” Says Ben Affleck

The Award Winner Talks The Dark Knight

One of the most eagerly anticipated movies of 2018 may be delayed indefinitely. While promoting his most recent film “Live By Night,” which Affleck has written, produced, directed and starred in, the topic of Batman came up.

Speaking with The Guardian about directing the upcoming Batman movie Ben Affleck has said that production on the film has not been ideal.

“That’s the idea. But it’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great I’m not going to do it.”

This speaks volumes to Afflecks commitment to his filmmaking and to the character. After the poor reception to both Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad it makes sense that Affleck wants to take his time and make sure he only makes a movie worthy of his caliber.

Affleck can next been seen as The Dark Knight when Justice League hits theaters on November 17th.
