Peter Dinklage Reportedly Joining Avengers: Infinity War

Tyrion Lannister to help or hinder the Avengers?

Variety  reports that the Game of Thrones star is currently in early discussions to join the hit film franchise “in a key role,” as well as the yet untitled sequel avengers 4.

Dinklage will be the first major casting for the film outside of returning Marvel Cinematic Universe stars such as Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson.

Marvel have yet to comment.

The actor is no stranger to the marvel universe, having played chief villain Bolivar Trask in 20th Century Fox’s X-men: Days of Futures Past back in 2014.

The Avengers: Infinity War will have the biggest cast yet starring Chris Pratt (Star Lord), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Chris Evans (Captain America), Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff), Robert Downy Jr (Iron Man) and many other actors reprising their roles from previous movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Still no word on if the defenders will appear in some capacity. The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. The film releases on May 4th 2018.
