“I’m the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn’t very nice”
Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine movie, Logan has officially been rated R for “strong brutal violence and language throughout, and for brief nudity.” The news comes via director James Mangold, who revealed the news on via his twitter account earlier this morning.
The massive success of Deadpool last year raised fans hopes of finally getting an R rated Wolverine film. While the franchise and has been very successful without the more mature rating, it makes sense to move in that direction. Wolverine is historically in a constant struggle between being an honorable man and a brutal killer. Hopefully the R rating means that we finally get to see Wolverine go full berserker mode.

Logan is directed by James Mangold from a script written by Michael Green, Scott Frank and James Mangold and stars Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Sir Patrick Stewart (Professor Xavier), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce) , Stephen Merchant (Caliban) and Dafne Keen (X-23). The film hits theaters on March 3rd.
