Just as Fox’s The Predator begins production, a Game of Thrones actor has been announced as joining the ever growing cast.
Actor Alfie Allen, know best for his role as Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones and as one of the Russian Gangsters from 2014’s John Wick, is set to portray an ex-marine in the film. No other details regarding the nature of his character or the plot of the film have been revealed at this time.
The film will have an R rating, with director Shane Black tweeting that PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.” The director provided a first look at the principal cast via his twitter page, which can be seen below.
Shane Black, who previously acted in the original Predator film alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, directs The Predator from a script that he has written with Fred Dekker. Alfie Allen joins the previously announced cast of Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Olivia Munn (X-men: Apocalypse), Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther), Jacob Tremblay (Room) and Thomas Jane (Deep Blue Sea). Shooting for the highly anticipated film has already started in Vancouver.
The Predator stalks movie theaters everywhere on February 9th, 2018.
